Marinated Chickpeas


 

As I sit here and type this post I am sitting in a hotel room still swooning over this amazing and totally swanky restaurant this hotel has. Like Lisa Vanderpump swanky. And the food OMGOSH. The best Asian cuisine I have ever tasted. Ever! Now onto things that taste good.
This dish so easy and tastes so delish. It's kind of embarrassing that it's so easy to make. It's actually a perfect kids in the kitchen recipe and totally healthy to boot.

Baked Chicken Italiano


Tomorrow is the first day of Spring! I can not believe it is finally here! Although it will be bringing 4 inches of snow here in NY. Let's hope it warms up quickly and melts. Along with little flowers and buds popping up everywhere, Spring comes another school break, Easter, dance recitals and family birthdays. I love waking up to hear the birds chirping again, the warmer sun  and the smell of fresh Spring air.

Broccoli with Zesty Cheese Sauce


I'm back! I took a week off of blogging to focus on some other stuff. Like having to buy a new dishwasher. Grrr! But within that week it seems we have Spring! Yes!!!!! We cracked the 50 degree mark to. It was almost 60 degrees. I even have flowers blooming in my front yard. I have never been more excited for Spring after this long snow filled dreaded winter. We still have some snow on the ground but it's pretty minimal. Have you ever had cheesy broccoli? If you haven't you my friend are missing out on one of life's most delicious treats!

Marinated Pork Tenderloin


We don't eat pork all that often in my house. We are more poultry people. Let's face it on it's own is well pretty bland. When I came across this recipe on you guessed it, Pinterest I knew I had to give it a whirl. The flavor combination is stellar almost all of my favorite ingredients. Whats even better is that it's baked in its marinade yielding a super flavorful piece of meat with leftover sauce for spooging!

Stuffed Sicilian Arancici


Happy March! Spring is near. Thank the lord. It snowing here again! Why is it snowing again? The remaining snow is completely frozen and it's an ice skating rink in my front yard. I need spring ASAP! I have finally had enough. We are big Italian food eaters in our house. Mainly because well were all Italiano and then some. Not that I even look remotely Italian. My skin is 50 shades of white. I have never been tan in my life and never will. The Irish won on that feature. That's OK I won't have wrinkles right? Wish full thinking.
