Blackened Grilled Pork Kebabs

I have another kebab recipe to share with you! Summer grilling is one of my favorite things to do. I love creating new recipes to grill and also love tweaking old ones. This is a new one and its a good one.

Tender chunks of pork seasoned with blackening seasoning (which I <3 dearly), grilled to perfection and slathered with sauce if you choose. Serve along side a nice summer salad and you will have the perfect summer dinner dish! Happy Monday!!

 ......................................................................................................................................................

Ingredients
1 pork tenderloin
1 large vidalia onion

For the seasoning
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons smoked paprika
2 tablespoons cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoons cayenne pepper, more if you like it spicy
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon olive oil

4-6 metal or wooden skewers

Directions
Cut the pork into 2 inch cubes and  place in a mixing bowl.

In a small mixing bowl add the oil and all of the spices and mix into a paste.

Pour the spice mixture over the pork and rub it into each piece. Let it sit for 10 minutes or so.

While the pork is sitting cut the onion into 2 inch pieces.

Skewer each piece of pork alternating with pieces of onions.

Grill on all sides turning frequently about 10 minutes per side.

*For more flavor brush with your favorite bbq sauce.
