We all have crazy busy lives right? We plan our shopping trips and plan and prep our meals right? I don't know about you but sometimes I don't even have the time to do that. I am a huge fan of time saving meals especially one-pot wonders. We eat pasta at our house at least once a week. But it is often the same old thing.  I love finding new and exciting ways to enjoy it, and my life just a whole lot easier with Barilla Pronto Pasta! Let me tell you pronto it is! 20 minutes from start to finish. Let's not forget less dishes! I am all about less dishes.

Some of you may be asking what the heck is a Plout? The Pluot, a cross between a plum and an apricot, looks like a plum. But tends to be a bit more meaty and tastes more like sweet honey. Not to mention it’s gorgeous red color, hence the name. I had bought a bunch from the farmers market and was trying to come up with a way to incorporate them into a salad. Here you have it!

Cranberry Chicken Salad

Sometimes life just throws us major curve balls. I have seen it more often than I would like to ever see again  admit. I never really dish my private business on here, it is a food blog. But sometimes you just need to take a break sit back and reflect on how lucky you really are. Life as we know it can always change in an instant. We had a pretty serious family emergency the last week. My precious nephew needed emergency brain surgery. If you follow me on Instagram you have seen his precious little face. Needless to say it's been an insane week of no sleep trips back and forth to the hospital and straight up worrying.  He is improving every day and hopefully will not have any further complications. He came into this world fighting 11 months ago and he sure is fighting now to heal quickly.
