My Favorite Chicken Recipe Ever

Guys it's freezing here! The air hurts my face like why do I live somewhere where the air hurts my face?  I want warmth. Maybe in a few years I will fulfill my dream of moving down south. In the mean time I will stay in the house and pray for sunshine and no more snow! OK I'll stop complaining now......
This is my all time favorite favorite chicken recipe. Like ever! It's a oldie of a recipe from my first year of blogging, so I call it a forgotten recipe. How ever it is a regular eat in our house. It's such a purdy dish to.

Slow Cooker Hungarian Meatball Goulash

Snow snow and more snow.....Grrr. I keep asking myself why do I live in NY? I really need to be someplace warmer like immediately. Since we have been getting snow once a week here I have been firing up the slow cooker and making a lot of comfort food quite a bit. Not to mention that the possibilities are endless with a slow cooker. I also realize that I make all sorts of meatballs to!

Mini Banana Puddings {Guest Post}

Hi there! It's Dana from This Silly Girl's Life and I'm so excited to be guest posting today for Rina!

Mini Banana Puddings

 I love recreating classic recipes to fit different occasions or tastes. I did that with a classic dessert, banana pudding! I love banana pudding and it always remind me of my childhood when my southern Grandma (yes, I have a southern and a northern Grandma, the best of both worlds!) would make it for us and it was gone in a flash! BUT, my least favorite part was the fresh bananas, I KNOW! I'm crazy like that, so I made a super quick and easy go -to banana pudding treat! Sans real bananas. ;)

Creamy Dreamy Tomato Bisque

Sometimes you just need a good bowl of soup. With the weather being so cold and us still having feet of snow soup it was for lunch the other day. Not just any soup creamy dreamy tomato bisque soup. I have never been a huge fan of tomato soup. Mainly because when I was a kid my grandmother improvised while making bucatini. And by that I mean she used the good old red and white can of condensed tomato soup instead of marinara sauce. She was old school you ate what was made and didn't complain. I'm pretty sure I cried.  It scared me for life until now. Seriously!

Raspberry Almond Sandwich Cookies

Do I have a treat for you all today. Valentine’s day is one of my favorite times of year to bake cookies other than Christmas of course.  The design is pretty simple to, a heart and here xo. These were a mommy and daughter project during our last blast of snow. That snow storm left us over two feet of snow which is still here. Grrr....

Sun Dried Tomato Bruschetta

Snowed in for days is all I can say until today and we are actually iced in!
I am about to lose my ever loving mind! Our school district even permitted school today without a delay and not one plow has been by. Remind me again why I don't live in a warm place? Not to mention my computer finally crashed last week and I had to splurge on a new one. I new it was coming can you say procrastinate? Any who last week we had a shindig for my loves birthday and I made this.

Winter Grapefruit and Citrus Salad

I just love citrus season! Don't you? Living here on the East Coast I can not wait every year for Florida Citrus especially Florida Grapefruit. As a child my grandmother would have a grapefruit sprinkled with just a small amount of sugar every morning for breakfast and through out the day she would drink grapefruit juice over ice. When she would travel to Florida every winter I could not wait for her to bring back Florida Grapefruits. Most kids would wan't souvenirs I wanted a grapefruit. Ever since being turned onto them as a child they are one of my very favorite fruits.
