Honey Balsamic Glazed Green Beans

Crisp green beans covered in a honey balsamic glaze.
Ummmm...NoM nOm
We love green veggies in our house.
I like every color veggie.
My kids especially love green beans.
I can eat them in every way possible.
They are the only vegetable my daughter will eat cooked.
She only eats raw veggies, she is my little
This makes me very happy.
I am a firm believer in that everything
tastes better with something on it.
Call me a spooger, I always
need a sauce or seasoning or something to dip in.
So I give you these.
I hope you like them!

16 ounces green beans
2 low sodium vegetable bouillan cubes
Water for boiling
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and freshly cracked black pepper

Bring a large pot of water to a boil over medium heat. Add the vegetable bouillon cubes. Add the beans and blanch them for 2 minutes. Immediately remove the beans from the water and add them to an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Drain.

In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and green beans. Cover, and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Uncover, then stir in the vinegar, honey, onion powder, and salt and pepper, to taste. Serve immediately.
