Roasted Pepper and Mozzarella Purses


Oh cheese how I love thee. Especially some fresh "mutzy" mozzarella. I found these really great little roasted peppers at Sam's Club. They are just the right size to stuff in a nice slice of cheese and a basil leaf. There you have this cute little purse. Just perfect for appetizers. Drizzle with some aged balsamic and mangia! 

1-33.5oz  Jar Whole Roasted Peppers ( I found mine at Sam's Club)
1- 16oz Log Fresh Mozzarella 
1 cup Fresh Basil Leaves
Aged Balsamic-enough to drizzle


Drain the peppers

Cut enough cheese slices to the amount of peppers. (My jar had 24)

Stuff each pepper with a slice of cheese and a basil leaf.

Sprinkle with some more julienned basil and a drizzle of the aged balsamic.
