Grilled BLT Crostinis

How were everyone's weekend festivities?  We had a small gathering of some friends which included these guys right here. Along with some salads and the usual bbq grub. Then we ended the night with a campfire. Today I am waiting for these clouds to go away so we can hit the beach! I am praying for no rain.
Happy Monday and Happy Labor Day!

1 whole baguette
4 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1/2 teaspoon season salt (such as Lawrys)
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/3 cups olive oil mayonnaise (such as Helmans)
6 slices bacon
1 cups any leafy lettuce
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

Directions
Slice up your baguette into 3/4″ slices.

Generously brush the olive oil over the top of the pieces and sprinkle them with your seasoned salt and pepper set aside.

Get your bacon and fry it up. Pull out the cooked up pieces, let them cool and drain, and then cut them into thirds.

Heat you grill to medium high heat. Put crostinis on at one time. Pay constant attention to them because they will burn if you even look away. After 30 seconds check the bottom, if its nice and toasty give them a flip and toast the other side for about another 30 seconds.

Now, take your cooked up crostinis spread the mayo and place a piece of bacon on top, then the lettuce and finally the halved tomatoes.
