Layered Jello Yogurt Squares

I hope everybody had a great weekend. We celebrated my daughters eighth birthday. I am still trying to find out where eight years went?! This is one of our favorite things to make together in the kitchen. My daughter just loves it. Layers of jello mixed with yogurt then shaped into whatever shape you want.
Happy Monday!

Ingredients
3 pkg. JELL-O Gelatin ( I had cherry, watermelon, and lemon)
3/4 cup water
3 containers vanilla low-fat yogurt 8oz each or 1 cup

Directions
Spray 8x8 square pan with cooking spray. Whisk 1 package of gelatin mix, 1/4 cup boiling water and 1 container yogurt in medium microwaveable bowl until blended. Microwave on HIGH 2 min., stirring after each minute. Pour into prepared pan. Refrigerate 40 to 45 min. or until set but not firm.

Repeat in same pan with each remaining gelatin flavor to make a total of 3 layers, refrigerating as directed after each layer.

Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm. Unmold onto cutting board. Cut gelatin into 12 slices or cut with cookie cutters.

The yogurt containers....should that be the small containers or the big ones? I think the small ones are 8oz.

    1. Yes 8oz is fine. I only had a large container so I used about 1 cup to each layer which is 8oz.
