Creamy Tomato Bow Tie Pasta Skillet

I love skillet pasta dishes. This one is super fast and ready in under 30 minutes. This is a total shortcut meal. You can't beat that.  Its the perfect weeknight or even Sunday dinner. Serve it to your guests and they will think you slaved for hours, I promise. They will never know.
1 Box Bow Tie Pasta
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 small onion chopped
2 cloves garlic chopped
1 can petite diced tomatoes, I prefer Del-Monte
1 jar tomato pasta sauce
1 cup light cream
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and saute until clear. Add the garlic and tomatoes continue to cook until tomatoes start to break down a bit.

Pour in sauce and cream stir well. Now add the cooked pasta and cheese. Toss to coat. Serve immediately.
