Amazing Broccoli Slaw Salad


Since I am the North East is getting slammed with snow and since I want Spring soooo badly, I give you salad. Not just any leafy plain old salad amazing broccoli salad. This stuff is so good. I have been making it once a week for the last few months. Even my picky eaters love it. Time to batten down the hatches! All my North East friends stay warm and let's hope for the best. I am praying we don't flood and loose power!

Ingredients
 2 heads fresh broccoli
 1 bag slaw mix, green cabbage, red cabbage, and carrots
 2 green onions, the whole onion
 1/2 cup shelled edammame
 1/2 cup shelled sunflower seeds
 1 cup mayonnaise
 1/4 cup white sugar
 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
 1 package dry Italian dressing mix
 water to thin


Directions
Cut the broccoli into bite-size pieces and chop the onion into thin slices.

To prepare the dressing, mix the mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar, dressing mix and mix together until smooth.

Stir into the salad, stir in the edammame sprinkle with sunflower seeds let chill and serve.
