I've been craving Starbucks lemon pound cake lately. It's so dang good. How ever I had some blueberries and ricotta and a slew of fresh lemons so I took the recipe I was going to use for pound cake and tweaked it to this. It turned out to be a nice lemony cake with all the yummy blueberries on the bottom. YUM!!!

Recently I came across a recipe for St. Louis Pizza. St. Louis pizza is a pizza made without yeast. Yes a pizza without yeast. It has a thin, cracker crust and a good handful of cheese on top. It is known for it's tangy cheese topping and distinct oregano flavor, and since there is no yeast, it is super easy to make. This is a great kids in the kitchen recipe. We love thin crust pizza in our house. I personally love it with pepperoni and black olives. I know I'm weird. Trust me its really good.

Oh all the ways I love Carrot Cake. It may be my favorite cake. It's up there with Angel Food Cake. And even Pineapple Upside Down Cake. These bars are a spin off of my Gooey Samoa Cake Bars. Pineapple cheesecake topped with coconut and a carrot cake crust versus the traditional gram cracker crust.

This is a great spring and summer side dish. There is no mayonnaise in it and it's served warm or at room temperature. No need to worry about spoiling. Plus its super healthy. It has just the right amount of seasonings to make it taste oh so good.

I've had this once. I have never made it, this was the first experiment and I have to say it was amazing! What a different take on plain old chicken. All the spices married together then marinated in tangy yogurt make a super tasty juicy piece of chicken. Grillin’ Bold this Memorial Day? Bush’s has the beans for it. Today I thought I's share a few of my favorite kitchen gadgets etc. Not to many, I am still working on adding to my collection. I don't know about you but buying new kitchen stuff is a good as buying shoes to me! Next purchase will be commercial baking sheets. I must have them!!!!

Ever since I came up with my roasted cauliflower recipe I have been obsessed with roasted vegetables. So with this broccoli I figured I would kick it up a notch. Why have plain old broccoli when you can make it taste so much better! During the warmer months I have an obsession with grilled veggies. You will see those soon.....

Just for Cinco de Mayo I give you this....Say good bye to plain old taco's and burritos. Carne Asada Steak, and Shrimp make this bad boy one to remember. I can not tell you how good this was. I had it in a restaurant a while back and me bieng me well, I just had to recreate it. Serve along side some Mexican rice and beans.
This is my new favorite pizza. I've had it before back in my days of working retail full time and then some. I must of forgot how good it actually was. You can cook your own chicken breasts like I did or cheat and but a rotisserie chicken. Big time saver. You can also use store bought dough, but I am partial to my recipe. That's all I will use forever and ever. Until I can't psychically can't make it anymore. That's how much I love it.
