We were having pasta the other night and I forgot to buy some Italian bread. So I whipped up a batch of dough and created these. These guys come together in a snap! Just bake like a pizza and cut into sticks. No separating dough and rolling.
Ingredients
1 recipe for Fail Proof Pizza Dough (click here)
1 stick butter, softened
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil3 cloves Garlic, minced
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/4 teaspoon oreagno
3 Tablespoons dried Parsley flakes1/2 cup grated Parmesan Cheese, plus 4 Tablespoons for sprinkling
Directions
Make dough according to directions. After it has risen twice, turn out on a sprayed jelly roll pan. Spread dough evenly with your hands. It will be at room temperature so this will be easy. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Set aside. In a large bowl combine the rest of the ingredients. Spread or brush the butter mixture all over dough and bake for about 20 minutes. Sprinkle with the remaining 4 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese. Cut into bread sticks. Serve warm.
How easy is this?! They sound great!
