1-¼ cup Warm Water
2 teaspoons Instant Yeast
1 Tablespoon Honey
2 Tablespoons Sugar
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
2 teaspoons Salt
3 cups Unbleached Flour
4 slices Thin Deli Ham
4 slices Thin Deli Salami
6 spears Thin Deli Pepperoni
4 slices Deli Provolone
4 slices Deli Mozzarella
Sesame Seeds
1  Egg Beaten

Preparation Instructions

In a large mixing bowl (or in the bowl of a stand mixer), mix the water, yeast, sugar, honey and oil. Then mix in 1 cup flour and the salt. Continue mixing in all the remaining flour until you get a nice, soft dough. Knead until dough is soft and smooth, about 10 minutes by hand or 5 minutes with a stand mixer.
Shape the dough into a ball and place in a lightly greased bowl and cover tightly (with a lid or plastic wrap). Place the dough in a warm place and let rise for about one hour.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
On a floured surface, roll the dough into a long oval, then layer with ham, salami, and pepperoni, then cheeses. Bring the long sides together over the center, and pinch together to seal. Turn over, so that the seam is on the bottom, and place on an ungreased baking sheet. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds if desired. With a sharp knife, cut 3 diagonal slices to allow the steam to escape. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until nice and golden brown.

  1. This does look like a tasty sandwich right from the deli. I am trying to save this recipe and I noticed that there is no baking time listed. Please revise so I will know how long to bake.
    Thank you!

  2. Mmm I love stromboli and this looks delicious! :)
